Michelle Coy

Born in Toronto, and raised in Pickering, I grew up in suburbia feeling like a city girl. My father Bruce worked for the Toronto Police, and my mother Paulette was a stay-at-home parent. I have an amazing younger sister Ashley, whom I am very close with. I was raised in a strict home with high moral values, lots of love and laughs. My family is my support system. I was raised to respect others, and to work hard. No excuses. I am married to the most understanding, patient, and supportive husband in THE WORLD! Geoff is my rock. We have three amazing children Kelsey, Jackson and Wesley. They are the reason I love life.  

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto where I specialized in the study of Medical Anthropology. 

I worked in the insurance industry for almost a decade before deciding to try out the stay-at-home mom thing. While at home with my mind idol, I wrote. That was when I discovered I was an entrepreneur! 

With a business partner, I started a cleaning business. We employed around 20 women and worked out of my home. 2 years in we opened a retail location to sell cleaning supplies and eco-friendly products. 

I currently do freelance work for a wide variety of publications.

Being a Scorpio woman, I have always had a fire burning inside of me. I am opinionated, outspoken, and have always had a passion for dramatic writing. I love to debate, or as my husband would call it, "argue". I don't shy away from fighting for what I believe in, or advocating for change. I am a strong person with an inner drive to achieve greatness.
